The master bedroom walls are painted with Medieval Gold, highlighted with the lighter Desert Caravan.
Riverview
Project ...
The Riverview Project involves decorating a beautiful new waterfront home on Riverview Lane on the Indian River in Melbourne Beach. The owner wants several rooms done, so we started with the master bedroom and bath. Later phases of the project will be added as they are completed.

BUT FIRST, let me show you the fantastic view of the river, looking out of the backside of the house.

Almost forgot! Here's Junior, the home's primary guard dog and volunteer painter's helper.

Below, a mural done in the bath to complement the artwork. Joyce used one of the paintings on the wall as a  model to create this dramatic mural. In the main part of the bath, the walls were done with Iced Tea, highlighted with Aztec Brick and Copper Glaze highlights. Note in the bottom right photo, the tile on the wall directly behind the tub; it doesn't show as well in the photo, but the new wall color really brought out the light-colored tile much more dramatically than the original White. The owner says she stops and admires it every time she enters the room.
Our next step was adding a nice outdoor mural to the Laundry Room, including a "portrait" of Junior. See photos below. Let me add that the room is rather narrow, so difficult to get a shot of the entire mural. I took some from long distance and some close-up -- you can hopefully get the full impression by squinting your eyes and looking at all the photos. They are best seen in larger view - click any photo to enlarge.

I took some "before" photos of the living area, so decided to include them here to whet your appetite. All of the walls shown here are completely White, despite what appear to be some areas of color -- these are caused by the digital camera. So, Joyce has all of this as her "pallet" for future creations, plus there are three more bedrooms and baths that aren't pictured! All photos are taken from the Foyer at the front door.
