In the left and center photos below, one of the major Manatees. On the right, the other large Manatee. Below that, the small Manatee in the corner surrounded by seaweed.
The Manatee Project was done on concrete block of a Florida room in Orlando. The owner wanted some very large Manatees, plus whatever the artist decided to add to the scene. We ended up with two large Manatees, one medium, and one small, with several schools of colorful little fish, coral, seaweed, and sunbeams. In the larger picture below, you see the work in progress, with the two main Manatees and the tools of the trade spread on the floor. Scroll down to see additional, more detailed views.
